But it can be one’s worst nightmare if you simply don’t have the skills to write a good and informative blog post. You might find yourself just staring at your computer screen for hours.

Luckily, just like any other skill, writing can be practised. No one becomes an expert overnight so if you want to be good at writing, you will need to write regularly. Here are some tips to create informative blog posts even if you’re not good at writing.

1.       Think out of the box.

The most important step is to try out different ideas. Your chances of finding new ideas will increase as you learn from your experience. At the same time, you will find new and creative ways to present your ideas in the best possible way. It doesn’t have to be something complicated.

2.       Keep it short.

You need to keep your posts simple and not too long. For example, you can start writing just 300 words for a blog post. Eventually, you will be able to practice writing more as you get the hang of it. Moreover, this is going to help you for two reasons: you will have a very limited number of words to work with and you will also be able to control your grammar and spelling and not have to waste time editing or proofreading your posts.

3.       Write in an engaging and informative manner.

Use your imagination and be creative. Most readers will be interested in interesting and insightful topics that are often not covered in ordinary blogs. They will, therefore, want to know more about the topic. So, make sure your articles are informative and entertaining.

4. Use simple words and phrases.

Writing your blog post in a way that is interesting and is easy to understand. You should be able to develop a good flow of information in the body of the article. You don’t need to write complicated words in order to create a great blog post. Make it as simple as possible so your readers can easily understand. Learn to present your ideas using clear and concise language that is not overwhelming. At the same time, you should avoid using technical terms and using slang phrases that are difficult to understand.

5.  Show that you are passionate about your blog.

Even if you are not that good at writing, you can still attract readers and give them an informative article if you show that you are passionate about your blog. You don’t have to impress anyone. First and foremost, you should be having fun with what you are writing. When you are passionate about the topic of your blog, it will be a lot easier for you to write an informative blog to your readers.
